The first official trailer for Netflix’s upcoming film “You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah,” which will debut on the service on August 25, features Adam Sandler and the rest of his family prominently.

The movie is an adaptation of the same-named coming-of-age book by Fiona Rosenbloom. For quite some time, Stacy Friedman and Lydia Katz had been close friends as they coped with the pressures of middle school. Stacy is preoccupied with organizing her bat mitzvah and fantasizing about Andy Goldfarb. However, Lydia ultimately cheats Stacy out of her crush, causing the two closest friends to quarrel.

Sunny Sandler, Sandler’s daughter, plays the major character of Stacy in the movie, while Sadie, his eldest daughter, also makes an appearance. Idina Menzel, Sandler’s “Uncut Gems” co-star, plays his wife in the movie.

The cast also included “Saturday Night Live’s” Sam Lorraine (“The Walking Dead: World Beyond”), Dylan Hoffman (“Next”), Dean Scott Vazquez (“Transformers: Rise of The Beasts”), Miya Cech (“Always Be My Maybe”), Dylan Dash (“The Great”), Millie Thorpe (“Ultra Violet & Black Scorpion”), and newcomers Zaara Kuttemperoor and Ivory Baker.

The project was directed by Sammi Cohen using a screenplay by Alison Peck. Together with Happy Madison executive Tim Herlihy, Sandler produces the show. Along with executive producers Barry Bernardi, Judit Maull, and Kevin Grady, Leslie Morgenstein and Elysa Koplovitz Dutton for Alloy Entertainment serve as additional producers.

Thousands of people have lost power and had to evacuate because of deadly wildfires blazing in Hawaii, which are being stoked by a combination of atmospheric and ground conditions known as “fire weather.” On Maui, a major fire caused much of the tourist destination of Lahaina to burn down, sending some residents fleeing into the harbour in search of protection.

Maui County released a statement on Wednesday night stating that at least 36 individuals have died in the flames. The U.S. Coast Guard reported that 14 persons who had leapt into the harbour at Lahaina in an effort to flee the raging fires in the old town had been saved.

The National Weather Service reported that Hurricane Dora, a storm that was sweeping across the Pacific Ocean hundreds of miles south of the Hawaiian islands, was responsible for the strong winds that were fanning the fires.

The cyclone, which the Central Pacific Cyclone Centre downgraded to a Category 4 on Wednesday morning, was a factor in the 60 mph+ wind gusts that tore through Maui overnight, downing power lines and causing property damage.

In the US, Lyme disease is the most prevalent vector-borne illness. The bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi and, in rare cases, Borrelia mayonii are the culprits behind Lyme disease. Through the bite of infected black-legged ticks, it is transferred to people.

Fever, headaches, exhaustion, and the distinctive skin rash known as erythema migrans are typical symptoms. Joints, the heart, and the nervous system can all get infected if untreated. The potential of exposure to infected ticks, physical signs (such as a rash), and symptoms all contribute to the diagnosis of Lyme disease.

If carried out properly and according to proven procedures, laboratory testing is beneficial. A few weeks of medicines can successfully treat the majority of Lyme disease cases. utilizing insect repellent, swiftly removing ticks, utilizing insecticides, and other measures are all part of the prevention of Lyme disease.

“Unsolved Mystery: The Gilgo Beach Serial Killings – A Decade of Murders Unraveled”

Karen Vergata, a 34-year-old Manhattan escort who went missing on Valentine’s Day in 1996, is the murder victim known as “Fire Island Jane Doe,” according to Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney.
He also declined to comment on any probable suspects, citing the “confidential investigation.”

There are “no charges at this time,” and investigators will continue to work on the matter, according to the report.
Between 2010 and 2011, almost a dozen sets of human remains were discovered along Ocean Parkway on Long Island’s South Shore, including four women known as the “Gilgo Four.”

Tierney stated that no missing person report was filed when Vergata went missing. Heuermann, 59, was named as a possible suspect in early 2022, shortly after a multiagency task group was formed to investigate the unsolved cases. According to a court filing from prosecutors, he is also the leading suspect in the 2007 disappearance and death of a fourth lady, Maureen Brainard-Barnes, but he has not been prosecuted in connection with that fourth crime.

Heuermann has denied the claims against him through his counsel. “I did not do this,” Heuermann stated flatly.

“X” in Twitter out!

Following Elon Musk’s announcement of the company’s rebranding on July 24, the previous Twitter sign, which featured a blue bird, was taken down from the structure last week over the course of several days.

Because the business lacked the required licenses for the sign takedown, “er” remained up by itself for a short while, while “Twitt” was immediately taken down.

Flashing “X” sign dismantled at former Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters.

Similar permit concerns affected the social networking company’s new “X” symbol. The ‘X’ sign was allegedly placed without a permit, according to a complaint filed against the business on Friday by San Francisco’s Department of Building Inspection. An inspector “spoke with Tweeter [sic] representatives and Building maintenance engineer representatives,” according to the city agency, who rejected access to the sign but stated that it was “a temporary sign.”

The hasty transformation of Twitter’s exterior signage into X is comparable to the way the Twitter platform is being transformed into X. Many places on the website and app now display the X logo instead of the Twitter logo, but Twitter is still present in some places.
